Race Postponed

The race has been postponed to May 9th.  With the safety of the runners the most important consideration it was decided that the trail is not currently safe.  I visited the trail today and found 6 inches to a foot of snow.  In the spots where traffic has been heaviest there are post-holes (also up to a foot deep) and ice.

    It's such a bummer but the right call. I've been stalking the snow on our local trails all week and it's not been melting as fast as I would have expected, not even close. All the postholes would be incredibly dangerous on a crowded course with people running at top speed. See you in May.
