Race Postponed

The race has been postponed to May 9th.  With the safety of the runners the most important consideration it was decided that the trail is not currently safe.  I visited the trail today and found 6 inches to a foot of snow.  In the spots where traffic has been heaviest there are post-holes (also up to a foot deep) and ice.

Current conditions

I checked out the start and the highway under pass today.  The start has a 5' high snow pile.  The trail itself has 12-18" of snow, and the highway isn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. 

Only a month to go!  Keep an eye on this site for updates.  If we have to postpone an announcement will be made no later than April 4.
