Trail update

3/25/15 - Some improvement, mostly to the big pile blocking the trail entrance which is now a little over 2 feet deep.  Out on the trail the snow depth still ranges from 6 inches to a foot.

Trail conditions - Update

Wow, I thought the last week would have had more of an impact.  There is still a lot of snow out there.  The snow pile at the start is about 4 feet high.  The snow on the trail ranges from 6 to 12 inches deep (at least).  The post-holes are dangerous and deep.  The best news, the highway snow pile is probably passable (single-file).

Current conditions

I checked out the start and the highway under pass today.  The start has a 5' high snow pile.  The trail itself has 12-18" of snow, and the highway isn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. 

Only a month to go!  Keep an eye on this site for updates.  If we have to postpone an announcement will be made no later than April 4.
